Sometimes we can find some lessons challenging, but in Year 4 we know it is important to have the right mindset. Our class rabbit called ‘Work- at- it’ Wiz has a growth mindset; he believes that if you put in effort, you can get better at everything. He tries hard in all subjects, even in subjects that he struggles with. He knows that we learn from the mistakes we make.
Today we found some of our math work challenging, but we had fantastic growth mindsets. We followed the secrets of success and didn’t give up, worked hard and concentrated meaning we learnt so much and managed to get ourselves out of the learning pit.
