Thank you to everyone who joined us this morning for our shared learning and lunch. We had a great time learning about hieroglyphics and writing and reading messages in ancient Egyptian writing. We then found out about the ancient Egyptian mummification process and how they removed their organs and stored them in canopic jars. We then got creative and and created some fabulous canopic jars of our own and decorated them using hieroglyphics and clay heads for the top.
