Roman Workshop

Yesterday, Year 4 took part in an exciting and educational workshop all about the Romans, delivered by Touchstones. We discovered fascinating facts about Roman life, explored real Roman artefacts, tried on authentic-style Roman armour, and even created our own Vexillas (Roman flags).

The children have made a fantastic start to Year 4! I’ve been incredibly impressed by their excellent behaviour and lovely manners. They’ve taken part in a variety of team-building activities and have already shown just how well they can work together. What a brilliant beginning to the year!

The River Roch

Teeth

During Science this half term we are looking at the human body. This week we looked at the different types of teeth and their functions. We then created our own teeth using plasticine.
