Year 5 had a fantastic opportunity to visit Bury Church High School for an exciting Art taster session. During the workshop, the children used acrylic paints to create vibrant rainbow backgrounds before making animal cut-outs to use as printing templates. The session was linked to the story of Noah’s Ark, as the children were given the important task of helping Noah after he had lost his animal record book. Using their creativity and artistic skills, they printed different animal designs onto paper to help rebuild the missing records. The children thoroughly enjoyed working with new materials and experiencing life in a high school art classroom.
