Our class visited Bury Church High School for an exciting art workshop. During the session, the children used acrylic paints to create a colourful rainbow background before designing their own templates on polystyrene boards. They then used printing ink to transfer their designs and create beautiful prints. The lesson was linked to the story of Noah’s Ark, with the children discovering that Noah had lost his animal record book and needed their help to recreate it. This imaginative theme engaged everyone and inspired some fantastic artwork. All of the children had a great time, showed excellent enthusiasm throughout the workshop, and their behaviour was outstanding.
