In our school cookery club this week we had great fun making sausage rolls. Before we started, we practised our planning skills by looking at the recipe and talking about the ingredients and steps. This helped everyone feel ready and organised.
We also focused on food hygiene. The children washed their hands carefully, and learned how to handle raw meat safely. They listened closely to instructions so they could work safely and confidently.
By the end of the session, everyone was proud of their golden sausage rolls. Along the way, they built important skills in planning, listening, and working together – as well as making something delicious!
