As part of our half term challenges we have completed an assembly to introduce ourselves to the rest of the school. We discussed:
- Who we are –We are your new Digital leaders. We are in Year 5 and will be helping you during some of your computer lessons.
- What is a Digital Leader – A Digital Leader is a pupil who is part of a Digital Leaders Team within a school, whose role it is to support the use and to further the development of ICT in school.

Check ICT equipment in school.
Share our skills and expertise with other pupils, classes and teachers.
Set up ICT equipment in classrooms for teachers.
Support teachers in using ICT in the classroom.
Set up a school Digital leader page and a blog page
Help children in their Computing lessons
Create how-to video help guides.
- Why Computing is important – Computing has links with Maths, Science and Design and Technology. As you get older there are so many jobs that need computing for example: Game designers, app developers, computer game testers, data scientists.
