Earth and Space

Pine have been describing the movement and shapes of the celestial bodies in our Solar System. Out in the playground we modelled the Solar System, arranging ourselves correctly to represent the Solar System with the Sun at the centre and the planets in order from the Sun. We then researched each planet detailing its size, its distance from the Sun, what it is made from, how fast it orbits and some fun facts about it. We then came up with a mnemonic to remember the order of the planets in the Solar System.
