Today we learned all about Easter and why it is important to Christians.
First, we retold the Easter story using drama. We acted out the key parts, like when Jesus rode into Jerusalem, when he shared the Last Supper with his friends, when he died on the cross, and when he came back to life. Acting helped us understand the story better and remember what happened.
We talked about why these stories are special to Christians. Christians believe that Jesus died and then came back to life, which shows hope and new life. This is why Easter is a very important festival for them.
We also thought about how the story makes people feel. Some parts are sad, like when Jesus died. Other parts are happy, like when he came back to life. We learned that the Easter story is about turning sadness into happiness, which is why it is so meaningful.
We did a great job sharing our ideas and using drama to help us learn!
