At Forest School today, Year 5 read the Easter story around the fire circle. We discussed the emotions that were felt at different points in the story. The children went on a scavenger hunt around the area and found 18 different flash cards showing different emotions. The children then got busy making emotions and faces out of clay. We also used a square lashing knot to make a cross. The children also made emotions using natural materials and talked about what made us feel the different feelings. During our collective worship on Friday, we discussed whether we do enough to help our environment. As a result of this, children asked if they could collect litter so we added this to our activity list too.
