Fieldwork

In Geography this half term, we have been focusing on fieldwork skills. As part of our learning, we explored directional language and practised using the points of a compass. Using an aerial map of Queen’s Park, we first completed a key and then answered questions about locations using the directions north, south, east, and west. For an additional challenge, we applied these skills to a map of the world, identifying the seven continents and answering directional questions about their locations.

Also in art this half term our topic is ‘Map it out’. For our first lesson we have been drawing an aerial view of our school.
