This week was our first Forest School after school club session and it was a great start.
We began around the campfire, where the children enjoyed brioche together while chatting and settling in, developing their speaking and listening skills. They then got creative, making fairy wands and decorating fairy doors using natural materials, showing imagination and staying positive as they worked through their ideas.
There was plenty of active play too, with den building encouraging teamwork and problem solving, and tree climbing helping to build confidence and resilience.
It was lovely to see the children so engaged and enjoying being outdoors!
