Year 5 have enjoyed their first session in the forest this week. This half term, we are doing forest science and investigating materials using the outdoor environment. Today we focused on how to keep safe in the area and discussed the rules. We talked about how to look after the area and explored the natural resources. We then discussed the boundaries and played a game of hide and seek to practise staying in the boundaries. After this, we learnt about how to keep safe around a fire.
