We talked about the importance of hand washing today. Some adults and children used paint to represent germs because they ‘hadn’t washed their hands’. We played a clap and high 5 game where each child ended up with some blue paint on their hands. This showed how much the germs spread and how quickly it spread. In the end we all had blue hands!

We learnt how to wash our hands properly using the NHS website video. It was fun and we all ended the day with very clean hands.

Wow, looks like lots of fun Willows! I loved hearing you tell me all about this activity in our science assembly this morning – and how it’s important to clean under our nails too! I’m sure we’ll all have very clean hands from now on!
