In our Science lesson this afternoon, we have been learning about human teeth. We have learnt the names of the four different types of teeth in our mouths and the roles that each of them play.

* Incisor – used for biting and cutting food.

* Canine – used for tearing and ripping food.

* Premolar – used for holding and crushing food.

* Molar – used for grinding food.

We then had to work with a partner to create a model of the lower teeth using modelling dough.
