This half term we’re learning about installation art. During todays lesson we investigated the explosive artwork of Cai Guo-Qiang. We looked at the techniques used to create the explosive effects he used and created our own scaled down version of an art installation. We used mixed media such as paint, stencils, chalk and even tea bags to create our installations. The children concluded the lesson by discussing the effect their installation would have on its viewer.
