Today during our assembly time, Year 5 have looked at Inter Faith Week 2025. The children were made aware of Inter Faith Week being from Sunday 9th – Sunday 16th November 2025 and that the theme of this week is ‘Community: Together We Serve’. Inter Faith Week is is a nationwide project, that brings together schools and faith and belief groups (including those who are non-religious) to celebrate how people believe different things. It’s a time to be kind, understand one another better, and celebrate the great things that people do for their communities. Lots of fun things happen during the week, such as talks, walks, parties, and learning activities.

We discussed as a class the important root values and how they are important beliefs or principles that people live by. We came up with a great list together and then the children were able to create their own tree with roots to display the ones that they felt were the most important.
