This week we have been reading the story ‘Jack And The Beanstalk’, we found out that Jack threw some magic beans out of the window and a beanstalk grew. At the top of the beanstalk lived a giant in a castle. Jack stole the giant’s gold and then he had to chop down the beanstalk so the giant could not get to him. We talked about the magic beans and what would happen if we planted our own. We planted some in pots making sure they had water and sunlight to help them grow. We also put a bean in a bag with a damp cotton wool ball to see which would grow the fastest.
We have had lots of fun reading the story and we hope we can do more fun things next week!
