Our DT unit this half term is ‘Cooking and Nutrition: Adapting a recipe’.

Last week we carried out some market research and taste tasted different biscuits as well as looking at the packing and deciding who the target audience was for each biscuit.

This week we followed a basic recipe and made our own biscuits. We made three different batches, one with white chocolate chips, one with milk chocolate chips and one with raisins.

We discussed the importance of having good food hygiene as well as how to use the equipment in the correct way.

Once the biscuits had been cooked we taste tasted them and we can confirm they were delicious!
