Year 5 pupils from St Luke’s recently visited Rochdale Town Hall as part of an exciting science project focused on solar energy and sustainability. The children have been learning about how solar panels can help reduce energy costs and protect the environment, and they explored ways solar energy could be used more effectively in school. During the visit, the pupils confidently presented their ideas to representatives from other schools, sharing their creative plans and explaining the benefits of renewable energy. The experience gave the children a fantastic opportunity to develop their presentation skills, work collaboratively, and learn more about the importance of creating a greener future.
