Science – plants

This half term, Year 1 learning all about plants! For our first lesson, we took part in a plant hunt, learnt about the different parts of a plants, what they need to survive and also completed an experiment using runner beans. We also then planted our own! We are going to observe the changes over time with watering only one seed to see if they both grow! Children also then continued  their within the provision areas by labelling parts of a plant and using dough to create their own plants or flowering plants.
