Significant people

In history, we have been learning about notable people from Heywood and exploring why they are remembered. Working in groups, we chose one individual to research and created a detailed fact file about their life, achievements, and impact. After completing our research, each group presented their findings to the rest of the class, helping others learn about different influential figures. Throughout this lesson, we developed important Skills Builder skills such as teamwork by collaborating effectively, listening by paying attention to others’ ideas and presentations, and speaking by confidently sharing our knowledge with the class.
