Children have been counting in 10’s and 1’s to find the total. We were able to switch from counting in 10’s to 1’s after some practise! Please comment below and we will look at them in class.

Year 1 worked very hard in the hall this morning with help from the Year 5 children to complete the activities from the Maths Carousel. We had lots of fun working with our partners to work out the answers to the puzzles. Thank you to Year 5 for organising it!

We have been working very hard in maths finding out about equivalent fractions using fraction walls, Cuisinare Rods and Tarsia puzzles.
Year 4 took advantage of the beautiful sunshine today but practicing dividing by 10 and 100 outside. They really enjoyed moving the numbers and counters to the correct columns.
We have been looking at finding fractions of amounts! We worked very hard to complete a fractions Tarsia puzzle!
