Year 3 have had a fantastic start to the school year. We have worked hard in English and Maths and been archaeoligists and cave men in topic.
We have had a fab day today in our school trip to Knowsley safari park. We saw lots of amazing animals and had the chance to stroke a giant African snail and a snake. The children were all really brave as well and went into the bat cave. Read more
This half term our new science topic is Sound & hearing. To start our topic we completed an experiment on how far we can hear different sounds.
We have created some beach huts by following a video then using waterpaints to bring our art work to life.
Wow, what a fantastic week! The children have worked sooooooooo hard but all their hard work has paid off & they have done so well on their SATs. They should be very proud 😎 As promised we finished the week with a fun Friday.
We completed a treasure hunt to find out about healthy eating. We had to read the clues then complete a body map.
We have been busy in Kayden’s garden planting lots of fruit and vegetables as part of our science topic. We cannot wait to watch them grow and try them.
Everybody in Key Stage 1 had lots of fun this morning taking part in our annual Easter Egg Hunt. Well done to the winners from each class who collected the most eggs.
