Year 4 Hawthorn have shown some fantastic team work during out D&T lessons. They worked in groups to create their mountain structures. Some of their ideas didn’t go to plan, but they didn’t give up and used some brilliant problem solving. How amazing do our finished mountains look!

Year 4 Hawthorn loved having their Parents, Grandparents and Godparents join our English lessons today! We were given some boring sentences to edit and improve. We added fronted adverbials, adverbs, adjectives, similes and interesting verbs. The sentences created were very impressive. We finished the morning with a shared lunch.
