This half term Juniper’s geography topic is all about ‘Energy and Sustainability’. This afternoon we have looked at what ‘sustainability’ means. The children brought a wealth of knowledge about this to the lesson, discussing how we look after our planet and what we are doing to destroy it. We looked at groups of people, for example, architects, engineers, designers, scientists, whose job it is to look at ways in which we can live more sustainably. The children also consolidated their understanding of sustainability at the end of the lesson by identifying sustainable and unsustainable ways in which we live.
