This week in PSHE, Year 3 have been learning about how they could help someone in an emergency. As part of this we talked about calling the emergency services, what constitutes as an emergency and the types of questions we may get asked if we did need to ring 999. We Then practised making a 999 call before children were chosen to come to the front to act out the call, having being given various emergency scenarios.
Creating secondary colours for a purpose
The children explored how painting could be used to express feelings of happiness, inspired by the artist Gillian Ayres. They were encouraged to paint a colourful garden that made them feel calm and joyful. The Read more
