Why was Jesus important to us?

This afternoon the children in Maple have been thinking deeply about who Jesus said he was. We have thought about the ways in which Jesus described himself and what he meant by this. The children have come up with some really reflective answers…’Jesus is a good shepherd because he guides us through life’…’Jesus feeds us with love, not bread, to keep us alive…’Jesus is the light because without it we’d all be living in darkness’.
