We have had a lot of fun in Rowan celebrating World Book Day. We started of by completing social reading (reading in groups)and discussing why we enjoyed that book, what aspect of it was good and what we also was not so keen on. Children choose from the ‘Little People Big Dream’ books and focused on one inspirational person and shared reasons why they were so inspirational and how they can use their actions to help themselves in life.
We then looked at that person in more detail and eventually started to write a concise biography on them.
They all looked fantastic in their costumes, I am sure you will agree.
