What a fun day we had for World Book Day today!
We started off the morning with a few of our parents and grandparents coming to read to us in our classroom. Thank you very much for taking the time – the children really enjoyed it!
Next we had a whole school assembly where we got the chance to have a look at each other’s costumes. Mrs Murphy had to choose the best two outfits from our class – it was very hard for her because everyone looked amazing. Well done to the winners!
Then we we had a a ‘Big Booky Brunch’ where we ate brioche and drank orange juice whilst Mrs Murphy read some of favourite classroom stories to us.
In in the afternoon we had to choose our favourite characters from fairy tales and write riddles about them. Our friends had to try and guess which characters we had written about.
