Today, both year 6 classes took a trip to Heywood Sports Village where they took part in lots of different activities to support their transition from primary to high school.
The children looked at ways they can manage stress and anxiety leading up to high school but also whist they are they are there. Some of the ways they can do this is by talking to the school nurse, breathing exercises, yoga and mindful movements.

The children all had an open mind today and worked hard to talk about their feelings to high school.
