On Friday, we were delighted to welcome our linking school for a special day of fun.
The day began with a range of ‘getting to know you’ games, giving the children the opportunity to learn more about their new friends. It was wonderful to see conversations flowing and new friendships beginning to form.
The children then took part in a variety of team-building challenges, where they worked together to solve problems, communicate and support one another. We also spent time in our Forest School area. The children enjoyed making bird feeders, hanging them in the trees to encourage local wildlife to visit. This was a fantastic opportunity to learn about caring for the environment while working together outdoors.
It was a really enjoyable day filled with laughter, learning and new experiences. We are incredibly proud of how welcoming, respectful and enthusiastic all of the children were throughout the visit. We look forward to meeting with our linking school again soon and continuing to build these valuable friendships.
