Year 6 Pupils Come Together for Transition Activity Day – Back in the Game
Year 6 pupils from schools across Heywood and Middleton gathered together to take part in an exciting carousel of activities as part of their transition to high school.
The children participated in a range of engaging and educational sessions, including Thai Boxing with Middleton Martial Arts Academy, Hate Crime awareness with Your Trust, Inclusion in Sport with Learn ESS, and Healthy Relationships with RCT.
The event provided a fantastic opportunity for pupils from different schools to meet, work together, and make new friends ahead of starting high school in September.
Through a variety of interactive activities, the children developed new skills, built confidence, and learned important lessons about respect, inclusion, and healthy lifestyles.
