This week we have had lots of fun for British Science week. We have worked together to make a wormery, we discussed a worms habitat and then went into Kayden’s garden to search for worms.  We were looking for three different types of worms – Earthworms (endogeic worms),  Deep borrowers ( anecic worms) and Surface Dwellers (epigeic worms).

Luckily it was raining so a lot of worms had come to the surface of the soil.  The children were really brave and careful picking up worms so we could add them to our class wormery.

The children also have been working hard to draw a picture of what they think a scientist looks like: these were just a few of the fantastic ideas.
