Year 5 had a fantastic time in the forest today. First we used our imaginations and found ‘not sticks’. We had magic pens, broomsticks, bow and arrows, wands, teleportation sticks and many more. The children then made up some fantastic stories to go with their ‘not sticks’.
We then found out a storm was heading our way so the children worked in groups to build a shelter. Some groups found this tricky so we gave some hints and tips and the children improved their shelters- just in time for the rain coming! The children had a brioche under their shelters then worked in teams to pull their shelters down.
