Year 5 and 6 walked to St Luke’s Church for their Christingle service this morning. They did a fantastic job and it was lovely to see so many parents coming to support their children too! The children spoke about what each part of the Christingle represents and did some beautiful singing. Some of our Year 5 children signed a prayer that they had created. The children have also shown that they can be courageous advocates. A year 6 child asked to donate to the church clock fund, so we gave £200 to Reverend Kirsty at church. Two other children were also congratulated in church as they chose to raise some money for the Ukraine appeal by selling cakes and raised £115!
