During Reflective Friday, we looked at this weeks picture news which was about a man who had broke a new world record for running. He was in the news because other people weren’t happy that he was wearing ‘super shoes’. We discussed if we thought this was fair or not, and how both the other runners and the runner who won might now be feeling.

We talked about how the bible tells us to always think of others and help them feel proud, happy and confident. We talked about how compliments make others feel happy and how we feel happy when we see someone else smile because of our compliments.

We looked at our talk partner and thought about what we liked about them. We told them and then wrote it on a post-it note and stuck it to them. We all noticed how happy it made everyone feel by the big smiles they had on their faces.
We also designed our own ‘Super Shoes’
