This morning, Miss Lomax found a duck that was injured on the car park. Miss Dewhurst and Mrs Pilliterri helped to safely get it in the box.

In Willows, we talked about the importance of looking after animals. The children were fantastic at explaining why it was important to look after animals. We talked about Christian values and linked with our SCARF lessons about what we do to keep healthy and what we do when we are poorly and what we need to help us recover.

The children understood how important it was to be very quiet, helping the duck to get some rest and to not scare it when they had a little peek.

The duck is now being looked after by a Vet and will hopefully be well enough to be released tomorrow
