Year 5 had their 5th forest school session today! The children explored the area and found and identified a range of minibeasts. We found snails, worms, centipedes and millipedes. We then discussed how we can improve the area for the fauna and for ourselves. The children then used the skills they have learnt to work as a team and build some amazing fences to make our fire circle more private. Some children created some amazing minibeasts habitats. The children were very creative and we had swimming pools, bridges and elderly care homes for the minibeasts. We finished the session around the fire circle, where we made popcorn on the fire.
