In RE, Year 6 have been looking at the Christmas Story. We focused on Jesus as The Son, The Father and The Holy Spirit. The children discussed and defined the word Incarnation. We explored that Christians believe that Jesus is God Incarnate, which means God in the flesh. A person who embodies in the flesh a deity, spirit, or quality. We then focused on different Bible Stories, discussing them in great detail and exploring how it shows Jesus as a human (human qualities) and also how it shows Jesus as God.
