It was a very wet Forest School session, but the children still had lots of fun! We started our session in the wild forest, where we talked about our senses and reflected on what it might feel like to lose one of those senses. We then closed our eyes and focused on our hearing and all the sounds we could hear. After this we discussed our Christian value this half term, which is trust. We then got into pairs and the children trusted their partners to keep them safe whilst they were wearing a blindfold. The children had to safely navigate their partners around puddles, mud and trees. We then played other trust games and children even invented their own games which relied on trust. At the end of the session, we discussed who else we trust in our lives and how we can trust God.
