Owl day

This morning we went outside to collect leaves during our forest school lesson. We then used these leaves to create an owl picture.

Our new story for English is ‘The owl who was afraid of the dark’ so for our first English lesson we had an experience day where we could hold a barn owl and stroke an Eagle Owl. The barn owl was tiny but he was the oldest of the two owls and was very gentle. The Eagle was only young and wasn’t used to being held a lot by strangers but he did let us stroke him gently.
