This morning Year 1 completed a grammar lesson on questions. We learnt about what a question is, how we know if a sense is a question, learnt sentence starters for questions, learnt KungFu Punctuation of how to draw a question mark and played stand up sit down for question or not a question.
we then took our learning outside to check our understanding. We worked in small teams in which we completed a relay where we each took a sentence to our supporting reader and decided if it belonged in the question mark or full-stop hoop. We then hunted for photographs and once we found one we took it to an adult and asked them a question about.
We had lots of fun learning outdoors and are ready to write questions as part of our travel journal tomorrow.
