Year 5 have been continuing our art topic by creating our own self portraits. The children spent the afternoon experimenting with different materials and techniques. They applied the knowledge and skills that they have worked on throughout the unit to create a mixed media self-portrait. The children used oil pastels, photographs, carbon copy paper, felt tips, pencil crayons and tracing paper to create their masterpieces. Next week we will complete our final pieces. Well done Pine!
