We used a paper plate to recreate our own designs of Clarice Cliffs ‘Circle Tree’ plate, we used bright colours to paint circles and finishing by using black paint and a straw to blow a tree design.
During our Art lesson we used a compass to draw the flower of life.
In Art today, the children had to trace an imagine from our current English book ‘ The Incredible Book Eating Boy’ into one square of a quadrant, they then continued flipping and tracing into the next square of the quadrant until the ‘flip pattern’ was complete. The results looked amazing!

This afternoon, Maple have been mark making with charcoal. We experimented with different textures and effects to try and express the meaning of some words. We had great fun trying to ‘draw’ anger, sadness and happiness to name a few!
We have had lots of fun designing and painting our African masks. Once they were dry we then practised an African dance, once we practised it a few times we then did the dance with our masks and we did amazing!
