This afternoon, Year 4 Maple visited Heywood library. We enjoyed looking through the selection of books and taking some time reading for pleasure. Every child chose a book to bring back to school that were able to stamp themselves. What a lovely afternoon we’ve had!
This week Year 1 completed their phonics screening check. The children have worked so hard all year and have made phenomenal progress. We are incredibly proud of them and decided they deserved a little treat.

This year, the Spelling Bee competition was ran for all schools within Rochdale to participate. A clear winner from both Year 6 classes and the one Year 5 class was Kelton. He then went to the semi-final to represent St Luke’s. Kelton progressed onto the final and today he competed Read more
