We have been working really hard this week with fractions. We then played a tarsia game to work out 1/2, 1/3, 2/3, 1/4, 2/4 and 3/4’s of a number.
This morning Year 5 have been developing themselves in a positive manner, thinking about self discipline and their use of common sense. This week in maths we have been using Cuisinare rods to understand scaling and how it links to multiplication and division. We worked hard to find lots of different calculations and then explained our findings. 😬😀🤗
