We watched a short clip about a Lighthouse keeper. We then created the front covers to our books and wrote our own ‘Lighthouse keeper’ stories. They are amazing! Miss Gomm was very impressed with our writing.
Today we created shells for Hermit crabs. We listened to a story about a Hermit crab and created a success criteria thinking about what would make a successful home. Today we watched a fantastic performance of ‘One little word’. The performance had no speaking parts at all apart from one little word -sorry! It was a very powerful production and all the children were engaged throughout. Thank you M6 for such a thoughtful story #onelittleword
Today we went for a walk to see what we could, see,hear, smell, touch and taste. Tomorrow we will use our findings to help us to write a garden setting description.

Today we went for a walk around Queen’s park to look at the trees and flowers in our local area. We found bluebells, buttercups, daffodils, tulips and many more! We really enjoyed our walk.
We have started to create our own musical instruments out of recycled items! We can’t wait to show you the finished products as we have been working very hard on them.
