Some children recently tried the “Storm in a Glass” experiment at home and had lots of fun learning about how rain forms in clouds. Using water, shaving cream, and food colouring, they created mini rainstorms inside a glass. The shaving cream acted like a cloud, holding the coloured water until it became too heavy and fell through like rain. This simple hands-on activity was a creative and exciting way to explore weather science at home.
This was the last of the science at home experiments. A really big well done to all those children who have taken part. After the half term holiday we will be giving out your rewards!
