Today, Year 2 were very lucky to take part in a special workshop called ‘Circus Sparks’ with Mick from Skylight Circus Arts. The aim of the sessions is to use circus skills to promote confidence in children.
Today, we learnt balancing skills with feathers, plate spinning and tricks, and began to learn how to juggle with scarves. Year 2 had great fun and it was lovely to see the big smiles and squeals of excitement when they learnt each new skill.
Miss Lomax and Miss Dewhurst have trained with the Skylight team and are excited to work with more children delivering circus sparks, very soon.
